Refrigerate upon Receipt
As soon as you receive your package, remove the meat from the cooler and refrigerate. Turkey Breast takes approximately 12-24 hours to thaw in the refrigerator. If kept in the refrigerator, Turkey Breast will stay fresh for 5 to 7 days.
Serve at Room Temperature
The Turkey Breast is fully cooked and ready to enjoy. Take the meat out of the refrigerator to stand at room temperature for at least 30 min before serving. Refrigerate unused portions immediately.
We recommend that you do not heat the Turkey Breast – made to enjoy right from the refrigerator. If you prefer your meat warmed, gently heat on low heat 275°F for 10 min per pound only by the slice, do not heat the entire Turkey Breast. Heating may cause the meat to dry out and lose flavor.
Slicing and Sectioning
The Turkey Breasts are pre-sliced. To release the slices, separate them gently with a knife.
Store for Future Use
Turkey Breast can be frozen up to 60 days for future use. To freeze a turkey breast upon receipt, leave it in the packaging and insulated bag it arrived in, and place in the coldest part of your freezer. To serve after freezing, remove from the insulated bag and place in refrigerator for 12-24 to thaw before serving. Once thawed, the Turkey breast will keep for 5 days. To freeze unused turkey portions after opening, wrap the turkey in aluminum foil and freeze within 5 days of thawing.
